A great deal

The area this place is in is great if you want to take a step back from the nearby party-beach of Ao Nang. There are a lot of restaurants and resorts, but not a lot of people. The beach is just across the street...a 1 minute walk, and the beach is great. Beautiful, clean. We went to the beach and there was one group of people about 50 meters away and a family 20 meters to the other side. So you get a feeling of privacy even though the beach is really quite large. We got a small air conditioned bungalow and were very pleased. For the price, its a great deal. Especially for a couple that would normally try for a private room at a hostel or something along those lines, this was a major upgrade without a major pricetag. The owner, Matthew, is very helpful and friendly, as is all of the staff. They can rent you a motorbike, do your laundry, and give good advice about the area, all of which we took them up on. Highly recommended for couples (or anyone) looking for a little privacy. There's a good restaurant, they make a mean cocktail, and much like all of Thailand, everyone always seems to be smiling. We certainly left with smiles and will be happy to return in a few days and anytime we head back to Krabi.
